About De Dive Centre

De Dive Centre opened in July 2019 and quickly established itself as a modern, customer-focused PADI centre on Tioman. The instructors blend island expertise with PADI standards to teach Discover Scuba, Open Water, Advanced, Rescue, Divemaster and professional instructor programs. The centre’s emphasis is on safe progression, small class sizes and hands-on coaching for learners of all ages and backgrounds.

Beyond courses, De Dive runs regular boat trips to Tioman’s popular sites – bommies, cleaning stations and macro-rich slopes that are ideal for photographers and macro enthusiasts. Trip planning prioritises weather, visibility and diver experience so each day maximises safety and encounter chances with target marine life.

Equipment care and guest comfort are central to operations: rental gear is inspected regularly, briefings are thorough and the team provides options for kit storage and local logistics. De Dive is also noted for extra touches – an underwater graduation ceremony and professional videography for course participants – giving graduates a memorable keepsake.

The centre is a Green Fins member and participates in reef-friendly best practices, aligning dive operations with conservation guidelines.
